The Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” release is coming May 23 in full-family sizing so the whole family can celebrate this beloved part of sneaker history.

Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Jordan 12 was inspired by the Japanese Rising Sun flag, with stitching inspired by women’s dress shoes. They released during the 1996-7 championship season, which featured the legendary “Flu Game,” where Jordan scored 38 points while ill. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the original shoe, Nike is releasing Jordan 30th anniversary sneakers in the same silhouette and colorway that Jordan himself sported during that iconic game.

This May 23, watch out for the Jordan 12 “Bloodline” drop. Like the Jordan Zion 1 “Bloodline” that released in 2021, this Jordan 12 release features a bold Black upper and Varsity Red accents that fit into the Jordan aesthetic and honor the brand’s Bulls legacy.
