The roar of the crowd, the squeak of sneakers on the court—these are the sounds of the Jumpman Invitational. But this year, in Charlotte, NC, there was a different kind of energy in the air. Beyond the dunks and three-pointers, the 2024 Jumpman Invitational was a celebration of creativity, mentorship, and the power of design, thanks to the Jordan WINGS Design Program.

For four weeks, a group of talented students embarked on a journey that took them from the classroom to the heart of the action. In partnership with the Carolina Youth Coalition and Rise 2 Impact, these aspiring designers learned what it takes to bring an idea to life. They weren't just sketching on paper; they were experiencing the full spectrum of the design world—from initial concept and marketing strategy to the final, polished presentation.
